Since it was first established, the Orsa Group accepted a commitment to struggle against social equality in Brazil. In order to coordinate and centralize its activities in this field, the Orsa Foundation was established in 1994, implementing programs in the fields of: Education, Health, Outreach Activities, Volunteering and the Environment, focused on all-round training for children and adolescents living in situations of high personal and social risk. In 2004, the Orsa Foundation invested R$ 16,652,216.00 and handled 1.4 million consultations all over Brazil.
In order to comply with this Mission, the Foundation receives at least 1% of the gross annual revenues of all companies owned by Mr. Sérgio Amoroso, as social investments.
